Felicidades a todos los miembros del maravilloso equipo de baloncesto de nuestra escuela, incluyendo, por supuesto, a lo entrenadores Lawson y Belfort que, con su increible dedicación y liderazgo, lograron guiar a unos talentosos chicos hasta la victoria frente a Wellington Landings en la tarde de hoy.
Para los que todavía no se ha enterado PSMS hizo historia ganando por primera vez el campeonato del Distrito. Los mantarrayas se hicieron con el partido con una ventaja abismal de 17 puntos, quedando el marcador con un magnífico 41-24 a nuestro favor.
La escuela fletó un autobús para que estudiantes y profesores pudiesen apoyar a los azul-amarillos, ni siquiera la mascota Ray Ray se lo quiso perder. El partido fue maravillo en todos los sentidos. Conseguimos llenar el gimnasio para apoyar a nuestro equipo llevando hasta la escuela de Wellington Landings nuestro PRIDE, y los jugadores no defraudaron, demostrando en todo momento la profesionalidad y seguridad que les caracteriza.
La escuela festejará el viernes 21 de marzo durante «House Shut Down Day» la victoria.

Congratulations to all the members of our school’s excellent basketball team, including, of course, Coaches Lawson and Belfort. With their incredible dedication and leadership, they managed to lead some talented kids to victory against Wellington Landings this afternoon.
For those who haven’t heard yet, PSMS made history by winning its first District Championship. The Stingrays took the game with a commanding 17-point lead, ending the score at a magnificent 41-24 in our favor.
The school chartered a bus so students and teachers could cheer on the team in blue and yellow; not even the mascot, Ray Ray, wanted to miss it. The game was fantastic in every way. We packed the gym to support our team by bringing our PRIDE to Wellington Landings School, and the players didn’t disappoint, demonstrating their trademark professionalism and confidence throughout.
The school is celebrating our children’s victory during lockdown this Friday, March 21st. Don’t miss this celebration!
